古武道の本物の先生と言われる高松寿嗣に弟子入りした。初めてあったときは緊張して体が動かず、酒を勧められたが一滴も飲めないほどのすごさを感じた。自分は27歳で死ぬと思っていたが、高松先生に会ったときはちょうど27歳。その時、過去の自分が無くなった気がした。その後も15年間、先生の前では酒は全く飲めなかった。実戦を行っていた高松先生に教えを受けたことが、自分にとっては何よりも強みとなっている。
